Events rarely run on a single shift time. Setup, service and close often need different people on site at different points, and it helps to write those three windows down separately before you request cover.
Think about how many service points you are running, the mix of bartenders and bar backs each one needs, and whether the format is a drinks reception, table service, a ticketed bar or something else. Guest numbers and expected pace matter as much as the total headcount.
This is support alongside your own event team. We arrange people; we do not run the event or supply bars, glassware or stock.

- Access details: which entrance, loading, passes and parking.
- The on-site lead and how to reach them on the day.
- The agreed hourly rate for each role.

We check availability and come back to you. Cover is arranged once the worker, the rate and the details are agreed.
What it costs.
Worker wages are payable in addition to the platform fee.
Plus £10 per worker per shift + VAT. Worker wages are still payable.
The platform fee on your first shift is waived. The worker's wages for that shift are still payable.
- Can I request a mix of bartenders and bar backs?
- Yes. Tell us how many you need of each role and we will check availability for that mix before anything is confirmed.
- What do I need to provide?
- Your timings, venue and access details, the role mix, the on-site contact and the agreed rate. A short brief on the service format helps people arrive ready.
- Is equipment included?
- No. Lytwork arranges people, not equipment. Bars, glassware, stock and any hire should be agreed with your own event team or supplier.
